"I think I'm more like that than you realize. I grew up in the darkness... it taught me to always look for light. Then I come here, and for one reason or another I'm shielded from the world. I don't know where they got the idea that I'm 'innocent'. I assume it's because I didn't know what they knew of the world. I didn't understand their culture, but I already knew of scars.; now they learn and it breaks them." I paused wistfully "One day I'm going to know everything about this place... and I'll be able to answer all the questions the curious may have."



"Then you'll be old." The other whispered.



"It will be good to be old then."
