I smiled for the first time in almost a year today, when we finally had some time alone in the Avengers tower after all the doctors did their tests. You're you, you're alive and somehow that's made me feel complete. I got the chance to hold your hands in mine, for the first time in a long time, and for the first time after knowing that we both know each other.
Your hands are so soft and somewhere deep inside of me knew this is where I needed to be. With you, beside me, watching a sappy romance movie. Because you give my life the meaning it should have, I finally have the chance at a first love, a first for anything.
You've already let me have my first kiss, I had to know you were real. I want you to be my first in everything that life throws my way. The first woman I move into a house with, the first woman I propose to, the first woman I marry.
