not every story has to be a romantic story okay? so here we look at some tips on how to write a platonic ship and how certain characters act in the friendship!
PLATONIC SHIPS BASIC INFO — is there is absolutely nothing going on between them, they're not romantically involved in any shape or form — take for example, the canon friendship of Sirius and Remus; Sirius is definitely one of these friends that like is the touchy one, likes to link arms and stuff like that, while Remus is not. Many people may have shipped them but canonically they were just friends who had no feelings for one another — each and every friendship will be different towards each and every character who you use — someone like Harry will have a very different friendship with your OC than someone like Draco — so you have to take into consideration what those canon characters are like in friendships, that's something that we see across the board — for example, Ginny is a very protective friend, she would stop at nothing to make sure her friends are safe and okay — and like I guess comment here if you need help with a specific character when it comes to platonic ships and I can help 💖
