This is all just a mere game,
For Him, that Govind!
Oh! Wasn't He playing with Rukmini,
On that eventful evening of Dyut Sabha!
"Akshayam", He smirked, at His game,
As Rukmini rolled the dice and gained.
"Akshayam" He said in Dwarka.
And Akshayam became Draupadi's Saree.
"Akshayam", He mouthed, abundance
"Akshayam", became Pandavas' rule.
"Akshayam" and so became doom
Abundant, looming over Kuru.
"Akshayam", came in floods
Blessings for the Kaunteyas and Madreyas
"Akshayam", it echoed over and over,
Akshayam: rose Dharma to claim its rights.
"Akshayam", He smirked at Rukmini,
"Akshayam", She repeated, the game was won.
Tell me, when the entire Mahabharata was a game,
That He played with Rukmini, smiling,
I can't imagine what my life is.
Is it another game of His?
Perhaps.
Perhaps not.
"Akshyam" I repeat His words,
With a yuga in between,
And I feel my love for Him,
Become "Akshayam"
Another game.
His games are "Akshayam"
