Love and Death

Lyla slowly wakes up and feels like something is tied around her. She looks around and she can't see anything because her vision is very blurry. She hears a bunch of voices and sees blobs of figures. The voices are muffled and she notices her head is throbbing in pain. She tries to talk, but suddenly her head falls forward limply and she blacks out.

Kendall goes downstairs. She walks downstairs and hears nothing but dead silence.

"Alfred, Bruce?"

"Yes, Kendall?"

Alfred comes out the kitchen wiping his hands on a white tea towel.

"Where is Lyla and Bruce?"

"Well master Bruce is crashed on the couch in the library, I'm not sure where Lyla is at."

"Okay."

Kendall goes to the library and sees Bruce is awake.

"Where's Lyla?"

"I don't know."

"Did she leave?"

"She said she was going for a walk."

"When?"

"I don't know."

"Aren't you worried?"

Kendall says walking out the library and grabbing her coat and shoes.

"I'm sure she'll be back."

"Your pathetic."

Kendall storms out the mansion and walks up the road to look for Lyla. She walks further and notices there is a puddle of blood on the ground. She bends down and pits her two fingers in it.

Its still wet...

She notices there is a blood trail.

She follows the blood trail and it leads her to a dead end, but she finds Lyla's ring covered in blood.

What the fuck, where is she?

Kendall picks up Lyla's ring and runs to the mansion.

BRUCE ALFRED!

Bruce and Alfred run to Kendall and see Kendall holding Lyla's bloody ring.

"Oh my god."

Bruce says.

"I'm calling the GCPD."

Alfred says running to the phone.

Lyla wakes up and opens her eyes. Her vision is still very blurry, but she can hear now.

"Can you hear me, Lyla?"

She hears a soft and familiar voice.

"Yes."

She says in a painful tone.

"Can you recognize my voice?"

"I- I think so..."

She sees the figure walk closer to her and can't tell who it is.

"It's me Mad Hatter."

"Huh?"

She sees a few more figures.

"Hey Lyla."

She hears Kyle say.

"I-I thought you guys were in Arkham."

"No, sweet heart I broke them out." HAHAHAHA!

"Jerome?"

"You bet." Barbra says.
