          → "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" dick asked his sister as they stood in the another room.

"it's a long story. well, not really but.. yeah." octavia replied.

"that does not answer my question. i thought you were heading back to gotham."

"see, i was. but now i'm here. look, you're right, okay? i need to stop listening to bruce and become my own person." octavia said.

"become your own person?" dick asked with a smile.

"oh shut up." octavia said, "i'm kinda winging it here."

"i'm glad you're here, octavia. i really am." dick said.

octavia smiled at her brother. "so... do we hug?" octavia asked.

"maybe later." dick replied.

"later." octavia repeated.

kory knocked and opened the door, "i don't want to interrupt but we have to talk."

octavia sat on the far table as dick paced in front of rachel, kory, and gar. "i need to talk to him. alone." rachel said.

"i don't think that's a good idea." dick replied.

"why? because i can't handle myself?" rachel asked. 

"it's not the point." dick said.

"i need to find out who he is. why he's chasing me."

"i don't trust him." dick said.

"what's not to trust? the man's tied up. one word from rachel and i'll put my foot through his face." kory spoke up.

"dick, please." rachel said.

"five minutes." dick replied.

"thank you." rachel said walking away.

"seriously?" octavia asked. dick, gar, and kory looked at her. "you actually let her go?" octavia asked.

"what is she doing here?" kory asked.
